How You Can Find The Right Niche To Start Helping With Local and Mobile Search

Step #1 – Use One True Media to create a simple sales video with a story to drive traffic to a site using the Main Street Marketing Machines system. Find photos to use in the slideshow video at  istock photos or fotolia. You can build a simple site to show the video on using any one of several free and very simple website building sites, like Hubpages.com, Squidoo.com or Wetpaint.com. I can show you how to do this if you have any challenges. Now, you have a lead capture site so you can show prospects what you can do! Use one of the FREE reports that comes with the Main Street Marketing Machines bonus system or create one of your own.

Step #2 – Look at sponsored links on Google for whatever you are targeting. For example, if you are targeting San Diego Attorneys, then do a Google search for “San Diego Attorney” and check out the sponsored results links. These are ads that San Diego attorneys are paying Google to have up there. If they are paying for those ads, then they are already proven advertising dollars spenders, so they are good targets for your marketing campaign.

Step #3 – Use Google Adwords Keyword Tool to determine how many searches there per month for whatever you are targeting. For example, using this tool I found that there are 110,000 searches per month for “San Diego Attorney” Now, I know one of the things I need to know for my pitch to prospective clients in this niche (see video script below)

Step #4 - Shoot for search phrases that have fewer than 500,000 search results in the market. San Diego Attorneys returns 13,600,000 pages, so that’s going to be pretty tough to rank a client for, but you can always narrow this down. In this case, I would try smaller areas of San Diego and more specialties for attorneys. For example, I might search “Carlsbad Attorney,” “Encinitas Attorney,” “North County Attorney,” or something like that. Or, I may try more of a specialty than just “attorney.” For example I might try for “San Diego Criminal Attorney” or “San Diego DUI Attorney” or “San Diego Divorce Attorney.” You get the idea.

Step #5 – Ask your friends what they would search for if they were looking for someone in the niche you are targeting. So, I would ask my friends, “what would you search for online if you were looking for an attorney today?” This can help you narrow your targeted keywords. Step #6 – Submit the video you made in Step #1 above using the Traffic Geyser membership that comes as a part of your Main Street Marketing program. This will get your video and site ranking so you can start collecting search results to show your prospects. When you submit your sites, be sure you have the URL for your lead generating site in the beginning. Don’t worry if you don’t know what I’m talking about here. It’s all in the MSMM system.

Step #7 – Create a Screen capture video – Show the results from all the majors of how you are ranking so you can use it in your video pitch (see below).

Step #8 – Getting business video – Create a 1) Quick pitch video, that tells 2) who I am why you should listen to me, and makes it clear that 3) I’m doing better than all of you combine, then create urgency and offer them 4) offer exclusivity, one person in the area, suggest that 5) let’s team up, and thank them tell them you look forward to the 6) pleasure of working with them and seeing results and leads.
